WORKING CONDITIONS
SALARY
At Leonardo Hotels we think it is important that you are well and fairly rewarded! The monthly gross salary is determined on the basis of your position, education and experience. In doing so, we adhere to the Horeca Collective Labor Agreement of the Royal Horeca Netherlands and use the Reference Functions of the Horeca Collective Labor Agreement as a guideline.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
In the case of full-time employment, each employee is entitled to 25 vacation days, which are accrued per month. You record these days in consultation with your manager. It is important that you take your accrued vacation days every year, so that you get enough rest and relaxation. Do you want to take more days off? Then there is the option to use unpaid leave in consultation.
KNOW WHERE YOU WORK
Leonardo Hotels thinks it is important that you know where you work (“Weet Waar je Werkt”)! When you have completed your probationary period, we will give you an overnight stay in the hotel where you work, including breakfast and dinner. You deserved that!
COLLECTIVE INSURANCE
As an employee of Leonardo Hotels you can make use of the collective health and non-life insurance of OHRA. In this way you insure yourself the way you want and you arrange your affairs directly and easily at an affordable premium.
PENSION SCHEME
Leonardo Hotels is affiliated with Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering (PH&C) and as an employee you accrue monthly retirement pension. This is part of the income that you have to live on after you retire and that is important to us!

Our own Development Lab offers all kinds of training courses both in class and online. We provide training for employees and managers in the field of service, upselling, safety, revenue, food & beverage, technical skills for the kitchen, leadership, conversation techniques, but also personal coaching is possible. OUR TALENT PROGRAMS: MASTERCLASS GROW AND MASTERCLASS LEAD
If you are ambitious and have the capacity to grow into department head, operations manager, hotel manager or general manager, you can sign up for the Grow or Lead Masterclass. A selection procedure determines whether you can participate in these talent programs. During these programs you follow an intensive training course, based on classroom lessons, practical assignments, coaching, competence development and workshops given by our Senior Managers and/or external trainers. You will be prepared for your next career step within our company.
TAILOR MADE TRAINEESHIP: A CUSTOMIZED INTERNSHIP
At Leonardo Hotels we take educating the new generation of hoteliers seriously and we provide the right luggage for a flying start of your career through the Tailor Made Traineeship (TMT). In collaboration with you, we provide a tailor-made internship, literally Tailor Made! We will see what suits you best. During the TMT you will receive training in Personal Leadership, Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance and more. We also offer the TMT Classes; a place where you can brainstorm, exchange ideas and where your graduation research or business plan is discussed. Within the TMT program you have your own personal coach, one of your senior colleagues from Leonardo hotels.
