Is hospitality in your blood and do you enjoy pleasing your guests? And are you the one who always goes the extra mile to make it happen? For the Savoy Hotel Rotterdam, we are looking for an energetic Operations Supervisor with leadership skills
What will you be doing?
As Operations Supervisor you are the go-to person for our guests and your colleagues. You make sure our guests have a great stay in our hotel and you look for ways to make that experience even better. You are responsible for both the Front Office and Food & Beverage department. You are a real team player and know how to inspire your colleagues. You know that when the team is happy, so are your guests! With the extra attention you give, you manage to exceed expectations of the guests every time and make the team feel appreciated. When the last guests leave the lobby, you go right ahead and help departments where needed, what an all-rounder you are!
Who are we?
Savoy Hotel Rotterdam is part of Leonardo Hotels and was completely renovated in April 2019. The hotel now offers 95 luxurious hotel rooms and a cool Piet le Blanc Suite where you can play games, watch movies or listen to music. The lobby has a cozy open space where you can go for breakfast, lunch, drink coffee and in the evening get some work done or catch up with colleagues or friends over a drink or snack.
As Leonardo Hotels Benelux, we are within the large Leonardo Hotels Group, responsible for all activities for the 28 hotels in the Netherlands and Belgium. At Leonardo Hotels we care deeply about personal growth, connection, and making an impact together. Who are you?
- The guest is always the number one priority for you.
- You are representative, enthusiastic and always go the extra mile;
- You work well in a team, but you can also work independently;
- With your leadership skills you can motivate, train and coach your team;
- You have a relevant completed education at MBO-4 / HBO level;
- You have experience in a similar position;
- You are available 5 working days;
- You are stress resistant and flexible in working hours and tasks;
- You have a high sense of responsibility and are a confident person;
- It is a plus if you have knowledge of Opera Cloud;
- You speak fluent Dutch and English. Do you also speak (some) French, German or Spanish? Even better!
- You live in the region of Rotterdam.
