Why choose between Front Office and F&B when you enjoy both? At Leonardo Hotel Groningen Stadspark, we do things a little differently. We work with All-Rounders: permanent team members who work in both Front Office and F&B and know both sides of the hotel inside and out.

We do this not only because it makes your job much more enjoyable and varied. Most importantly, we do it for our guests. Because why should a guest have to wait until the right colleague is available? Or be sent from reception to the restaurant simply because their question happens to be related to F&B? At our hotel, every All-Rounder knows both departments. This allows us to answer questions immediately, act faster, and most importantly: deliver service on the spot. Do you notice at reception that a guest would like something to drink? Then you take care of it.

Does a guest in the restaurant ask about a late check-out, a taxi, or their reservation? In that case, you do not need to look for another colleague first. You know how it works and help the guest right away. No “you’ll need to ask my colleague about that,” but simply: “I’ll take care of that for you.” That is hospitality, the way we see it.

As an All-Rounder, you will receive a contract for 30.4 or 38 hours per week and be fully trained in both Front Office and F&B. One shift you will be welcoming guests at reception, the next you will be working in Chef’s! Food & Drinks, and quite often those two worlds naturally overlap. This way, you get to know the entire hotel, take on a great deal of responsibility, and build strong relationships with both our guests and your colleagues. No two days are the same. And that is exactly the point.

Our hotel is located next to MartiniPlaza, on the edge of the city centre, in the striking La Liberté building. Its industrial and distinctive character perfectly reflects Groningen: a little bold, down-to-earth, and above all, never boring. On the third floor, you will find our restaurant Chef’s! Food & Drinks. Here, we welcome guests for breakfast, business lunches, dinners, and drinks. We believe it is important that our guests have an excellent experience. But we also believe that this is only possible when our own people enjoy coming to work. That is why, as an All-Rounder, you will be given plenty of responsibility, variety, and opportunities to develop yourself.

WHO ARE YOU?

Hospitality comes naturally to you. You genuinely enjoy working with people and thrive in an environment where there is always something happening. You do not want to choose between working at reception or in the restaurant. In fact, you would not want to.

You:

• Are energetic, enthusiastic, and have strong communication skills;

• Always put the guest first;

• Enjoy working in both Front Office and F&B;

• Are a team player but can also take responsibility independently;

• Are accurate, flexible, and able to perform well under pressure;

• Speak Dutch and English fluently;

• Preferably have experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or a similar environment;

• Are flexible and available to work morning and evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Experience is a plus, but your attitude and hospitality mindset are just as important to us. The rest, we can teach you.
