As a line cook, you literally give the guest a glimpse in our open kitchen by sharing your secrets. Because who knows better what is really tasty? As a line cook at Leonardo Hotel Papendrecht, you always work with fresh and local ingredients, and that makes you happy. You talk passionately about our products and preparation methods when our guests ask about them. Trying new combinations, that makes you enthusiastic! You are proactive and creative, and think along with us about improving our products. The position can be filled both part-time and full-time

Close to the Drechtsteden, with nature within easy reach, you will find Leonardo Hotel Papendrecht. Leonardo Hotel Papendrecht has 87 modern rooms and 10 fully equipped apartments of approximately 100 m². Our hotel is the only hotel in the Alblasserwaard and has a small but very close‑knit team! Our guests have the opportunity to visit Dordrecht and Rotterdam by waterbus, traveling over the Maas along all the harbors. After a day of sightseeing, a visit to the Erasmus Bridge, or the famous Kinderdijk windmills, our guests can enjoy a delicious dinner at Chef’s! Food & Drinks. WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD CHEF?

• You have a chef's degree or have worked in a similar position for at least 1 year.

• You are energetic, cheerful and HOSPITAL! For you, hospitality means going that extra mile.

• You have knowledge of HACCP

• You love food and enjoy talking about exciting food and drink combinations.

• You have a hands-on mentality and are a born team player.

• In addition, you are flexible and available on weekends and holidays, and you live in (near) Papendrecht.

• You are flexible with regards to working hours and tasks.

• You have knowledge of products/ingredients, calculations and menu card.
