Marketing Operations Intern

About the position 

Do you love variety and want to gain hands-on experience in operational marketing within the hospitality industry? Are you organised, creative, and excited to help bring hotel brands to life through photoshoots, marketing materials, and on-property activations? What are you going to do? 

As an Operational Marketing Intern, you’ll be part of the Benelux Shared Support Office Marketing team. You’ll work closely with the hotels and help translate brand plans into practical marketing activities. In this role: 

• You support the planning and coordination of hotel photoshoots, including briefs, shot lists, schedules, props, and on-site logistics. Also the upload to our media library is part of your tasks. 

• You help organise content production for hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, events, and guest experiences. 

• You coordinate with hotel teams, photographers, videographers,suppliers, and external agencies. 

• You support hotels with operational marketing requests, such as signage, menus, flyers, in-room materials, screens, and promotional collateral. 

• You help ensure that marketing materials are accurate, up to date, and consistent with the relevant brand guidelines. 

• You assist with hotel openings, rebrandings, campaigns, events, and on-property activations. 

• You collect content and information from the hotels and help keep shared asset libraries and marketing files organised. 

No day is the same : one day you’re preparing a photoshoot or visiting a hotel, the next you’re coordinating new collateral, supporting an activation, or following up with suppliers. That’s what makes this internship so practical, dynamic, and fun!

Who are you?

• You have a strong interest in hospitality, branding, content production, and operational marketing.

• You are organised, practical, and comfortable coordinating several tasks at the same time.

• You have an eye for detail and understand the importance of consistent brand execution.

• You are proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn.

• You communicate clearly and enjoy working with different teams, hotels, and external partners.

• You enjoy working in a team but can also take ownership of tasks independently.

• You are currently enrolled in an HBO or WO program, for example Marketing, Communication, Hospitality, Media, or Business.

• You speak English and Dutch fluently.

• You are willing to travel to hotels in the Benelux when required for photoshoots, activations, and projects.

• You are available for 5–6 months.

• You must be enrolled at an educational institution to be eligible for this internship.

• As an intern you will receive an internship fee based on €750,- gross per month fulltime, which consists of €670,- internship fee and €80,- expense allowance. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, according to the number of days and hours worked. So one month you get a little less and the next month a little more.

Please note: you must be enrolled at a university or Dutch educational institution to be eligible for this internship.

You must be an EU citizen or hold a valid Dutch residence permit to qualify for this internship.
